HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Vikings led 9-0 at halftime after scoring four goals in the first quarter and five more goals in the second quarter. Five of their goals were man-up.
- Augustana out-scored the Comets, 4-2, in the second quarter.
- Both teams tallied three goals in the fourth quarter.
FOR THE COMETS
- Senior Cameron Bazin led Olivet with five points on three goals and two assists. He also posted a game-high 13 shots.
- Sophomore Justin Lamb had the other two Comet goals.
- Freshman Connor Hamm scooped-up a team-leading seven ground balls.
- Freshman Jake Steele played all 60 minutes in the cage and recorded 11 saves.
FOR THE VIKINGS
- Shane Forsythe had a game-high four goals to go along with an assist for a team-high five points.
- John Danko was next with four points on three goals and one assist.
- Cameron MacKenzie also finished with four points, including a game-high three assists.
- Jason Van Dyck notched a team-best 10 ground balls.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- With his three goals and two assists, Bazin now has 125 goals and 50 assists for 175 points in his Olivet career.
