MEQUON, Wis. – On a cold, blustery day at Fitting Field in Mequon, Wisconsin, the Olivet College men's lacrosse team fell to Concordia University, 11-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Comets took a 1-0 lead on an unassisted tally by freshman Trevor Bailey with 11:09 left in the first quarter.
- After the Falcons tied the game, senior Nino Minaudo put Olivet ahead 2-1 with just two seconds remaining in the opening quarter.
- At almost the same time as the first quarter, the Comets stretched their lead to 3-1 at the 11:10 mark of the second quarter. Minaudo netted the goal off a pass from sophomore Bryce Drew.
- Concordia made the score at halftime by scoring a goal with 7:45 left in the second stanza.
- The Falcons outscored Olivet, 9-2, in the second half to pull out the win. Five of their goals came to start the third period.
FOR THE COMETS
- Minaudo finished with two goals as well as a team-leading 13 shots.
- Bailey, freshman Jake Kovalcik and junior Logan Krieger each had one goal.
- Senior Drew Radners played all 60 minutes in goal and made 10 saves.
FOR THE FALCONS
- Kellen Asmundson topped the team with six points on five goals and one assist.
- Aidan Connolly finished with three points on one goal and two assists.
- Garrett Wohlford was in the cage for the entire game and collected eight saves.

- Olivet hosts Oberlin (Ohio) College in its home-opener next Saturday, March 4. Game time at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet is 2 p.m.
