109 student-athletes named to the 2016-17 MIAA Academic Honor Roll
One hundred and nine (109) Olivet College student-athletes have been named to the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Academic Honor Roll for 2016-17. Olivet succeeded the 100 plateau for the fourth time in school history.

Four Olivet College men’s lacrosse players -- seniors Charlie Haesler, Logan Krieger and Nino Minaudo, and junior Cullen Haesler -- have earned 2017 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) honors. Polendo’s overtime goal lifts men’s lacrosse team past Hope, 17-16
Senior Tyler Polendo scored with 1:15 left in overtime to lift the Olivet College men’s lacrosse team past Hope College, 17-16, this afternoon at Van Andel Stadium in Holland. The win helped the Comets move into a tie with the Flying Dutchmen for second-place in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) standings with identical 4-1 records.

Minaudo notches 200th career point in men’s lacrosse team’s 19-3 win over Kalamazoo
Olivet College senior Nino Minaudo scored his 200th career point and became the career leader in assists, as the Comets easily beat Kalamazoo College, 19-3, in a MIAA men’s lacrosse contest tonight at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet. In addition, senior Charlie Haesler had six caused turnovers to give him 37 in 2017 to break the single-season school record.
