GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Olivet College men's golf team posted its best team finish of the year in a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) jamboree, placing seventh today at the Watermark Country Club in Grand Rapids.

Par / Yardage: 71 / 6,536 yards
- The Comets had a 323 team score and were only six strokes behind sixth-place Albion College.
- Hope College captured the team title with a 285.
- Josh Gibson from Hope was the individual medalist honors with a three-under par 68.
- Sophomore Nicholas Hoffman carded a 76 to lead Olivet.
- Sophomore Cameron Lemon was a stroke behind with a season-low round of 77 strokes.
- Senior Joey Richmond completed his round in 84 strokes.
- Freshmen Mason Evans and Jacob Wester shot matching 86s.
- The Comets participate in the Wabash (Ind.) College Classic Oct. 6-7 at the Crawfordsville Country Club.
