The Olivet College men’s golf team was seventh at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #4 this afternoon at the Watermark Country Club in Grand Rapids.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Olivet College men's golf team was seventh at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #4 this afternoon at the Watermark Country Club in Grand Rapids.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Comets carded a 329, which is their lowest team score in an MIAA round this season.
- Hope College took first-place with a 299. Adrian College was the runner-up at 303, and the host Calvin College Knights were third at 305. Trine (Ind.) University placed fourth at 307, followed by Kalamazoo College, 310; and Albion College, 313. Alma College was 18 strokes behind Olivet with a 347.
- Winton Munch from Hope and Grant Brettnacher from Trine shared medalist honors with 71s.
FOR THE COMETS
- Junior Tanor Blowers posted a team-low 80.
- Freshman Logan Stefanko was one stroke behind with an 81.
- Junior Joey Richmond and senior Matt Sherry returned to the clubhouse with matching 84s.
- Freshman Zach Sturgill completed his round in 87 strokes.

- The Comets will next participate in the Trine (Ind.) University Invitational Saturday at the Zollner Golf Course in Angola, Indiana.
