Adams tabbed to 2018 NABC Coaches’ Division III All-America Third Team
Another postseason honor has been bestowed to Olivet College senior Jalen Adams, as today he was tabbed to the 2018 National Association of Basketball Coaches’ Division III All-America Third Team.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Another postseason honor has been bestowed to Olivet College senior Jalen Adams, as today he was tabbed to the 2018 National Association of Basketball Coaches' Division III All-America Third Team. These teams are selected and voted on by the member coaches of the NABC in Division III and these student-athletes represent the most outstanding players across America in their division.
Leading the Comets to a share of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA), Adams averaged 26.2 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. He had 22 games which he scored more than 20 points to become Olivet's single-season scoring leader with 707 total points. Adams also pulled down 288 total rebounds and ended the season with 16 double-doubles.
Adams is the only second men's basketball player in school history to earn NABC All-America honors. The other was Michael McClary in 2010 and 2011. McClary was a first-team selection both seasons.
