ALBION, Mich. – The Olivet College football team dropped a 38-17 decision to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) rival Albion College today at Sprankle-Sprandel Stadium.

- The Britons were driving down the field on their first possession. The Comets stopped the drive with an interception at their own 11-yard line.
- On Olivet's first play from scrimmage, sophomore Deonte Higgins caught a pass from freshman quarterback Evan Ormsby and raced 89 yards down the sideline for a touchdown.
- The Comet defense forced a three-and-out for Albion. Junior Dominic Ghiardi returned the punt 22 yards to the Briton 49-yard line. Sophomore Cortaveon Barnett gained eight yards on first down before racing 41 yards on second down for a touchdown and Olivet led 14-0 midway through the opening quarter.
- Albion got on the scoreboard for the first time with a 63-yard punt return for a touchdown.
- The Britons tied the game on a 28-yard touchdown pass from Jack Bush to Kolby Canfield.
- Albion seized its first lead on a 30-yard touchdown pass from Bush to Jacob Clark with 12:53 left before halftime.
- Olivet was able to close the gap to 21-17 when junior Samuel Roose made a 26-yard field goal on the final play of the first half.
- The Britons scored two touchdowns and a field goal for their 17 second-half points.
- On 68 offensive plays, Olivet totaled 364 yards.
- Barnett led the ground game with 14 carries for 117 yards.
- Ormsby completed 13-of-24 passes for 185 yards.
- Higgins caught three passes for 112 yards.
- Sophomore Spencer Tyler and senior Logan Fee each had seven solo and four assisted tackles for 11 total stops.
- The Britons recorded 411 yards.
- Phillip Jones-Price had 14 carries for 90 yards.
- Bush threw for 220 yards on 13-of-20 passing.
- Brendan Teal snagged three passes for 55 yards.
- Mitch Arendsen finished with a team-best 11 tackles.
