MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Olivet College senior offensive lineman Trenton Monroe has garnered 2018 D3football.com All-North Region second-team honors.

Monroe played the first game of the season at tight end. Following an injury to a teammate, he moved into a starting role on the offensive line. Monroe started the next three games at right tackle and the final six games at left guard.

A 2018 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association First Team selection, Monroe blocked for the Comets' offense, which averaged 443.6 yards per game, including 243.6 yards on the ground. The 4436 yards of total offense ranks third all-time at Olivet for a season, while 2436 rushing yards is sixth and 2000 passing yards is eighth.
