117 Olivet College student-athletes named to MIAA Academic Honor Roll
One hundred seventeen (117) Olivet College student-athletes have been named to the 2018-19 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Academic Honor Roll. Olivet succeeded the 100 plateau for the sixth time in school history.

Monroe receives Division III Scholar-Athlete of the Year award
Olivet College senior Trenton Monroe has received the 2018 Morley Fraser Division III Scholar-Athlete of the Year award from the State of Michigan Chapter of the National Football Foundation (NFF). The award is presented for excellence in athletics, academics and civic leadership.

Football team defeats Alma, 37-34, on Senior Day
Lane Porter threw a 39-yard touchdown pass to Jacob Jodway with 1:33 left, and sophomore Devin Pascavage intercepted an Alma College pass with 23 seconds left to lift the Olivet College football team past the Scots, 37-34, on Senior Day at the Cutler Athletic Complex in Olivet.

Olivet College senior Jamaul Martin and freshman Anthony Merriman have been named Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Players of the Week for football. Martin is the Offensive Player of the Week, and Merriman is the Defensive Player of the Week for their performance in the Comets’ 21-17 win over Kalamazoo College.
