Hunwick named MIAA Special Teams Player of the Week
Olivet College junior placekicker Justin Hunwick (Sterling Heights/Stevenson High School) has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in the Comets’ 78-21 win over Ohio Wesleyan University Sept. 18.

Olivet College junior placekicker Justin Hunwick (Sterling Heights/Stevenson High School) has been named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Special Teams Player of the Week for his efforts in the Comets' 78-21 win over Ohio Wesleyan University Sept. 18.
Hunwick was a perfect 10-of-10 on point-after-touchdown kicks to break the Olivet single-game record. For the season, he is third on the team in scoring with 16 PAT kicks and a field goal for 19 points. Hunwick also has 50 career PAT kicks, which ties the school career record.
Olivet is next in action Saturday, Sept. 25, when it hosts Manchester (Ind.) College. Kick-off from the Cutler Athletic Complex is 1 p.m.
