A school record 136 Olivet College student-athletes have landed a spot on the 2017-18 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Academic Honor Roll. Olivet succeeded the 100 plateau for the fifth time in school history.

Calvin won a pitcher’s duel in the first game, 1-0. Freshman Junior Gomez hit two home runs in the eighth inning to help the Comets rally past the Knights, 14-11, in the nightcap.

The Thunder held off a Comet rally in the seventh inning to win the first game, 5-3. In the nightcap, Riley Bennett hit a grand slam and Zac Walter threw a complete game to help Olivet beat the Thunder, 5-1.

The Olivet College baseball team lost both games of a doubleheader to defending Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) champion Adrian College today at Nicolay Field in Adrian. The Bulldogs won the first game 9-1. Olivet rallied from an 8-0 deficit to send the second game to extra innings before falling 10-9 in 10 innings.
