Bowling teams compete at Muskie Mash
The Olivet College men’s and women’s bowling teams competed at the Muskie Mash, hosted by Muskingum (Ohio) and held at the Tiki Lanes in Lancaster, Ohio. The tournament consisted of five team games and 12 baker games.
LANCASETER, Ohio – The Olivet College men's and women's bowling teams competed at the Muskie Mash, hosted by Muskingum (Ohio) and held at the Tiki Lanes in Lancaster, Ohio. The tournament consisted of five team games and 12 baker games.
The Comet women finished third of 11 varsity teams with a team total of 6,142 pins. Senior Loretta Hinds landed a spot on the all-tournament team by virtue of a second-place performance. She totaled 955 pints (191 average). Freshman Alyssa Crampton finished 10th with a total of 886 pints (177 average). She helped Olivet get off to a fast start by bowling a 256 in her first game.
The Comet men placed eighth of 14 varsity teams with a team total of 6,543 pins. Freshman Tyler Kolassa posted a 1,062 total (212 average) to finish sixth overall, just missing the top five by 12 pins.
