About The University of Olivet
Established in 1844, The University of Olivet is a private, liberal arts institution located in south central Michigan, between Battle Creek and Lansing. Olivet was one of the first institutions in America to admit women and minorities. Olivet is dedicated to its vision of Education for Individual and Social Responsibility, and remains true to its roots by providing a quality higher education to all, regardless of gender, race or financial means. Home Event Information
BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL
Games are played on the fields located behind The Cutler Event Center. The visiting team uses the first base dugout at softball and the third base dugout at baseball. Locker rooms are located inside The Cutler Event Center.
BASKETBALL
Games are played on Hathaway Court inside The Cutler Event Center. The visiting team uses the team area at the west end. Locker rooms are located inside the facility.
FOOTBALL
Games are played on Cutler Field inside the Cutler Athletic Complex. There are locker rooms inside The Cutler Event Center.
GOLF
The home course for the men's and women's golf teams is The Medalist Golf Club, 15701 N Drive North, which is just off I-69 in Marshall.
SOCCER
Games are played on the field located behind The Cutler Event Center. The visiting team bench is at the south end of the field. There are locker rooms inside The Cutler Event Center.
SWIMMING AND DIVING
Swimming and diving meets are held in the Upton Center pool. There are locker rooms adjacent to the pool.
TENNIS
When weather permits, matches are played outdoors at the Kolassa Tennis Courts inside the Cutler Athletic Complex. The six courts are adjacent to the baseball, softball and soccer field. If necessary, matches are also played indoors at the Minges Creek Athletic Club, 21 Minges Creek Blvd., which is off Beckley Road in Battle Creek.
TRACK AND FIELD
Track and field meets are held on Kolassa Track inside the Cutler Athletic Complex. The track is around the perimeter of the turf field. Long jump, pole vault and high jump are contested in areas near the track. Throwing events are contested across the street from the Cutler Athletic Complex.
VOLLEYBALL
Volleyball matches are played on Hathaway Court inside The Cutler Event Center. For the women, the visiting team begins the match using the bench at the west end, nearest the gym entrance., while for men's matches, the visiting team starts the match using the bench at the east end. Locker rooms are located inside the facility.
WRESTLING
Wrestling dual matches are held in The Cutler Event Center. There are locker rooms inside the facility.
Admissions Policy
There is an admissions fee for indoor sports (basketball, volleyball, STUNT and wrestling) and football. Tickets can be purchased in advance on the Hometown Ticketing app or visiting our online ticket portal.
Van/Bus Parking Information
For all athletic events, except football and swimming and diving, visiting team vans or buses must park in the parking lot beside the Cutler Event Center.
For football, the visiting team buses must park in the grass lot across from the football field. The entire paved parking lot in front and beside The Cutler Event Center is pass only and game day staff.
For swimming and diving, visiting team vans or buses may be parked on any street surrounding the Upton Center or in the parking lot behind the center.
