The Dean Trailways Female Comet of the Week is senior Abbie Slater, of Lake Orion, and graduate of Lake Orion High School. Slater helped the women’s swimming & diving team split four dual meets Nov. 9 at Hillsdale College. She took first-place in both diving competition, scoring 167.40 points on the one-meter and 146.45 points on the three-meter. Olivet beat Tiffin (Ohio) University and Ursuline (Ohio) College, but lost to Hillsdale and Notre Dame (Ohio) College.
