The Dean Trailways Co-Male Comet of the Week is sophomore Anthony Merriman, of Ferndale, and graduate of Ferndale High School. Merriman led the Olivet defense in the football team’s 28-13 win Nov. 9 at Alma College. He returned an interception 45 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter and recorded eight total tackles (three solo and five assisted).
