Bio
Four-year baseball star, captain in ‘25, all-college batting
average; “one of the best MIAA catchers.” Halfback in
football, 1923-24. Career as a surgeon, begun in 1929, included
service on Notre Dame medical staff in football. He remained in
private practice and was associated with the Notre Dame staff until
his death in 1966.
